Shane’s played with everyone from the Neville Brothers to Boz Scaggs to Dr. John to Jewel to Little Feat and the list goes on and on. While he’s a phenom lead player, it's his rhythm chops that keep the phone ringing off the hook. You’d be hard-pressed to find a better rhythm player walking the planet today.

How he found the time to prep and record Rhythm Mojo, we don’t know but we’re thanking our lucky stars he did, and you’ll be thanking yours shortly too. Shane has organized the Rhythm Mojo curriculum in three sections; Section 1 covers 21 essential concepts and techniques, Section 2 presents 10 rhythm studies designed to help you learn how to apply those concepts and techniques, and Section 3 puts it all to work across a series of 6 playalongs, which will help you manifest your own special Rhythm Mojo.

In Section 1, Shane shares some serious rhythm mojo across 21 essential concepts including: breaking up chords, adding bass notes, triads, alternating accents, funky thumbs, driving rhythms, chord climbs, funky clusters, melodic do-dads, keeping it tight, low down double-stops, slips and slides, the all-in-one, minor 9th mutes, little curlies, open string grooves, riffs, hybrid picking, double-drop D moves, wah wah and much more.

Keep your guitar strapped on for Section 2 because you’ll be learning how to apply all of those concepts and techniques in a real-world musical context as you work and play your way through 10 rhythm studies, which cover a wide spectrum of popular grooves and styles; Rock Funk, New Orleans, Gospel, Blues, Memphis Muscle Shoals, Zydeco, Swamp, Soul Jazz, Classic Funk and Hard Funk.

You'll find your own Rhythm Mojo (or it will find you!) in Section 3‘s six rhythm playalongs. Shane steps you through a series of playalongs where you trade rhythm parts with him using the concepts and applications you’ve picked up in the first two sections. Shane will play for a few measures and then you’ll play for a few measures. You’ll start by emulating what Shane is doing and then you’ll progress by creating your rhythm parts using your own special new-found mojo.

No tedious exercises or boring theory to struggle through in Rhythm Mojo – you will play your way through the entire course. Everything is tabbed and notated, plus you’ll get all of the killer rhythm tracks to work with on your own.
