Description
Hi, I am LIPAI. I am an Indie Game Dev and also a digital artiest who made all the game assets myself.
Pixel art animation might look simple, but behind every bouncing ball or squishy slime is the foundation of great animation principles. In this bootcamp, you’ll learn the basic Aseprite animation and build real projects.
We’ll start with the basics—creating your canvas, adding frames, and using onion skin to see your animation flow. Then you’ll practice the timelessbouncing ball project, where you’ll understand speed, acceleration, squash, and stretch—fundamentals that make movement feel alive.
Next, we’ll bring it to life with a fullslime animation project. You’ll learn how to design, draw, and animate a cute slime character that falls, bounces, and interacts with its background. We’ll even explore how AI can help speed up parts of your workflow.
Finally, we’ll move beyond sketching: you’ll discover how to export your work as GIFs, widescreen demos, and sprite sheets that are fullygame-ready. Whether you’re making animations to share online, improve your art portfolio, or build assets for your indie games, this course gives you the tools to succeed.
By the end of this bootcamp, you’ll have a completed animation project, a strong grasp of the principles of animation, and the confidence to keep creating your own pixel art worlds!
Who this course is for:
- Aspiring pixel artists, indie game developers, and beginners who want to learn animation fundamentals while building real projects in Aseprite
