L'Association Osez-les-Arts invites you to discover the new album by Ensemble Double Face during an exceptional evening in Heiligenstein!

At 6pm, meet the artists and attend the presentation of this new opus devoted to Franz Schubert and Franz Lachner, over an aperitif dinner hosted by Restaurant Le Spes'.

At 8pm, the Double Face ensemble will offer this program in concert in the Eglise Protestante Saint Jean-Baptiste d'Heiligenstein.

A glass of friendship will be offered by the Mairie d'Heiligenstein at the end of the concert.

Franz Schubert and Franz Lachner were two Viennese friends whom Ensemble Double Face is pleased to reunite for the Lieder program of this Album. Lachner was an organist, teacher, conductor and composer. He wrote many beautiful Lieder, for one or more sung voices, or with voice, melodic instrument and piano. As for Schubert, we know him as an immense composer, author of several hundred Lieder, but he was also a singer, instrumentalist and conductor.
"These two Franz friends" were particularly prolific in the Lieder field. The Double Face Ensemble likes to reinterpret their songs in the spirit of Hausmusik - music in the home - very much in vogue at the time, where a plethora of instruments could be invited to musical moments. Schubert was an inspired composer, and the famous schubertiades, where music, poetry and theater were shared with great artistic fervor, were established.
