Muddy Waters - Folk Singer HDAD [mastertape sound]

Folk Singer is a 1964 album by Muddy Waters. Waters plays acoustic guitar, backed by Willie Dixon on string bass, Clifton James on drums, and Buddy Guy on acoustic guitar. In 2003, the album was ranked number 280 on Rolling Stone magazine's list of the 500 greatest albums of all time.

Mastered from the original 1964 Chess analog master tapes, this HDAD recording brings out elements of the intimate studio production as never before. Muddy's supporting cast includes Buddy Guy on guitar, with occasional visits by Chess veteran drummer Clifton James, Otis Spann's piano and Willie Dixon at the upright.
HDAD is a two-sided DVD-based disc which Classic Records is calling 'Hybrid Digital Audio Disc' or HDAD. One side of the disc is DVD-Video formatted and contains 24/96 2-Channel PCM data playable on all DVD video players. The other side contains 2-Channel 24/192 PCM data and is playable on DVD-Audio players.
