Aosoth is the second project of vocalist & lyricist MkM (the founder of Antaeus) evolving in the black/death metal genre. While Antaeus sets boundaries for violent, grinding black metal, Aosoth delivers more dissonant and 90's death metal elements combined with the work of guitarist & producer Bst (The Order Of Apollyon, VI), who compsed the music on the album. The duo is accompanied by bassist INRVI (the founder & mastermind of VI) and Saroth (Hell Militia/Temple of Baal) on second guitar.

This is neo progressive rock, in the style of Arena. Clive Nolan's contribution in the progressive rock world is impressive: Pendragon, Arena and then here in Shadowland. He plays tons of keyboards here and composes the music. The style is prog hard rock, sometimes almost metal, because of the razor and aggressive guitar sound of Karl Groom. Nolan's keyboards are varied and he has a very unique scattered style that can be interesting in many bits. Lots of moog solos here.

Robert Lawrence "Bob" Welch (August 31, 1945 – June 7, 2012) was an American musician. A former member of Fleetwood Mac, Welch had a successful solo career in the late 1970s. His singles included "Hot Love, Cold World", "Ebony Eyes", "Precious Love", and his signature "Sentimental Lady".

On Hollow Earth's "Out Of Atlantis" influences from 1969-1972-era Deep Purple are combined with some distinctly Canterbury styled moves. The members of Hollow Earth belong to a secretive cult, and are thus unable to give away their true identities. What they can do, however, is to play rock music in the vein of Deep Purple, Pink Floyd and King Crimson.

The sophomore release for Morke, "Sirens," has been released. Totaling nearly 53 minutes, this album is an exercise in atmospheric black metal experimentation, and a great departure from what the first album had to offer.
