    Summer Heart is a Swedish dream pop act and the solo project of singer-songwriter and multi instrumentalist David Alexander. He is best known for his nostalgic lo-fi sound. Summer Heart was formed in 2011 just after David Alexander returned to Sweden. His first release, Please Stay EP (2011), gained a lot of attention in the blogosphere. It was topping Hype Machine's charts and got positive reviews in newspapers around the world such as The Guardian and The Star. After his songs were being picked up by several TV and movie production companies, one of Summer Heart’s tracks ended up on NBC TV-series Whitney, which got him lots of listeners outside the blogosphere. Although Summer Heart is a solo project, Alexander is most often seen on-stage together with friends. Alexander is a vegan.

    Warren Ellis is an Australian musician and composer best known as a co-founder of the instrumental rock trio Dirty Three; for his film score collaborations with Nick Cave, and as a member of Cave's bands the Bad Seeds and Grinderman. A classically trained violinist, Ellis studied in Melbourne before busking his way across Europe in the late '80s. In 1992, he formed Dirty Three with guitarist Mick Turner and drummer Jim White, and the group made their debut a year later. Throughout the '90s, Ellis maintained a healthy output of music, releasing a string of acclaimed records with Dirty Three and first collaborating with Nick Cave, then joining the Bad Seeds as a full-time member. Over the years, Ellis has also collaborated with Marianne Faithful, Cat Power, and the Avalanches, among others. He made his solo debut in 2002 with the experimental Three Pieces for Violin EP, which featured music he'd composed for Canadian dance company Holy Body Tattoo.

    Martlet was formed at the end of 2014 by Louis-Philippe Leroux and JP Bouchard following the dissolution of death metal band Shades of Dusk. The pair was later joined by bassist Cymon Lamarre (ex-Pleibeian Grandstand, ex-Zubrowska, ex-Dimitree), who was the perfect fit for the band. They soon began working on what would become their debut album, Wojtek, released on December 1st 2017.

"Hair in a G-String" from 2016 has remained as No:2 album of the year on Progarchives. It could be labelled Prog before there was Prog. Split this into the written piece "Hair in a G-String" (about 46 minutes) & "Songs not in G" (About 36 minutes) and you'd have a prog album and a melodic rock album.
    "minor Masterpiece" is a treat of a variety of styles and approaches. Colin is often inspired by the early seventies for the diversity and daring of the music of that time and it shows on this wonderful new offering from CTP.

    Picture this…..we have a band from Hamburg Germany playing a blend of True and Power Metal with some influences from the older Helloween style. They manage to not only get Kai Hansen (ex-Helloween now with Gamma Ray) to let them use his studio to record, but to engineer and produce their first full length album for them. Wait….it gets better….Kai also contributes some great vocals on Chains Of Slavery (a killer track!!) and even sings and plays guitar on the bonus track, (digi-pack only) a cover of the classic Helloween song, Heavy Metal (Is The Law), also featuring Markus Grosskopf (Helloween) on bass. To top it off, Dirk Schlachter (Gamma Ray) contributes some lead guitar work.
