Progressive/Power/Speed Metal

"Anticlockwise" is one of those few albums where power meets melody. Produced and mixed by Bob Gramm and Lorenzo Deho' (Time Machine) "Anticlockwise" features aggressive guitars, easy-to-listen vocal lines and, above all, massive drum work. Songs composed in an extremely mature way gather in an excellent album that one could hardly detect as a debut work. Properly arranged and rich of "catchy" riffs, this album offers the listener an incredibly wide range of sounds and musical situations. Sudden keyboard breaks ease the pressure generated by hammering combinations between guitars and drums, linked by appropriate bass lines. "Anticlockwise" makes Abighor the first Italian band able to compete with foreign "giants" of speed-metal. "Anticlockwise" is a perfect product for audience like Japan and Germany, Italy, and all other territories where the tradition of classical heavy is finding again the ground to grow upon. Furthermore, due to the great response obtained by the original version quickly sold out, Lucretia Records International decided to re-mix the whole album in a re-mix version, enriched by a brand new artwork realised by Rick "Wizard" Andreoni (Archangel, Time Machine, Anger, Node, ect). The new version of "Anticlockwise" is expected out in January 1997.
