Faanefjell is a Norwegian black/Folk metal act, who has recently launched their debut album entitled Trollmarsj (eng: ‘The March of the Trolls’).The album consists of ten tracks that all have clear references to traditional Norwegian black metal. Trollmarsj is also a concept album; a story of the mountain, humans, fights and wars, priests and the march of the two trolls, namely Grimtroll and Sytroll.This is definitely one of the strongest folk/black/Viking metal debuts that I’ve ever heard. Highly recommended for the fans of Týr, Svartsot, Korpiklaani, Fintroll, Sirenia…
