A constant oscillation between the extremes. This could be a short and precise definition of the young jazz group „Raphael Käfer´s Tyranno Saurus Jazz“. Mostly being active in the areas of postbop and modern jazz, the young musicians also try to integrate components of other musical styles such as classical music. Affected by melancholic sounds to the point of aggressive and wild sections, the musicians always play with dynamics to create an outstanding musical intensity. In spite of the huge variety in the compositions’ mood and tempo, the musicians always keep hold of their own sound and musical style.
