The new CD of the Helmut Bruger trio "Blues in the Key of Love" includes eight original compositions by pianist Helmut Bruger, as well as three interpretations of jazz standards. The trio, which has been playing together for 5 years, has developed its own soulful trio-sound over the years, influenced by soul and blues. The Canadian Robin Draganic on double bass and the American Kenny Martin (defunct) on drums, together with Helmut Bruger's piano playing form a unique swinging sound.
