Konni Kass - Haphe (2016)

Scandinavia has never been known to be too short when it comes to creating new and unique bands. Born in the Faroe Islands, Konni Kass is no exception. The band is driven by a unique, feminine voice, powerful yet at the edge of the fragility that enters a symbiosis with a universe of synthesizers and effects, accentuates the duet with the saxophone, or underlines the ballad-like sound constructions. But she also likes to be louder, more pop as in the first hit, which carries the perfectly fitting title "Sounds". Konni Kass expresses her stamp on the electronic music scene with a few smoothed iron and with unique melodies, surprising even with unusual elements. It is jazz, soul, electro, pop and above all Nordic - worn by an impressive voice. The name will soon become apparent: it is Konni Kass. The band has only been around for a year, but has already attracted great international interest. A first international appearance at the SPOT Showcase Festival in Denmark last May was followed by the invitation to the Reeperbahnfestival as well as the nomination for the Anchor Award in addition to label and tour requests. When the latter was not won, her performance caused reactions from astonishment to euphoria and ultimately led to six (!) Appearances and presentations around the festival! In November, "Haphe", the band's debut album, will be released next year.
