Alain Caron - En / In Concert (2015)

Alain Caron’s brand of jazz has lead him across the globe, showcasing the virtuosity he is known for. Accompanied by his three high level bandmates : pianist John Roney, guitarist Pierre Cote and drummer Damien Schmitt, this two-time winner of the Oscar Peterson Award from the International Montreal Jazz Festival (1991 with the band Uzeb, 2013 as a solo artist) has been touring extensively in 2014-2015. The material draws from his critically acclaimed release Multiple Faces (June 2013), along with some of his best compositions and fan favorites from his previous discs.

Having traveled the world over the last 2 years with this show, it is now at home in Quebec that he has chosen to immortalize this concert on DVD. The Art Center La Petite Église, a small and intimate room in St- Eustache Quebec opened its doors to him, offering a cozy decor and the warmth of a loyal audience.
