Nina Michelle - Love Confessions (2018)

Nina Michelle is a Canadian vocalist, currently living in Munich, Germany. She began her classical piano studies at the age of 5. Upon receiving a scholarship, Nina went on to study music and voice in her native Vancouver which she left when she was offered a record contract in Europe.

Since 1994 Nina has been touring Europe with some of the finest musicians. When at home in Vancouver, she regularly performed with the Linton Garner Trio at Rossini´s Jazz Club. Her many tours to Switzerland included association with drummer Charly Antolini and his Jazz Power. Nina Performed with several big bands, including SWR Band in charge of Max Greger, featuring among other solo artists Benny Bailey and Hugo Strasser.

She has performed at many jazz festivals in Europe, among them the Ascona Jazz Festival, Jazz an der Donau, Stuttgart Jazz Tage, Shake the Lake, Lenker Jazz Tage, Hessen Jazz, Wangen im Allgeau Landes Jazz Festival, etc.

Nina has recorded several CDs with her own Trio featuring Rocky Knauer, a Canadian bassist. She has also made recordings with Max Greger Jr, Charly Antolini, Bayerischer Rundfunk, ORF Production dedicated to Robert Stolz, and did a television production for ZDF and BR.
