Ils n'avaient pas de poil au menton mais ne pensaient qu'a ça, ces indigènes brésiliens encore pubères. Pour entrer par la grande porte dans la famille des adultes, ces jeunots, un beau jour, se levaient avant l'aube pour s' engouffrer, la peur au ventre, dans la forêt vierge. Leur mission ? Ramener des plumes, les plus vives, les plus longues, arrachées aux aras, ces perroquets vertigineux d' humour, gardiens de la forteresse verte, l'Amazonie qu'on sait. Leur forfait accompli, nos galopins étaient déclarés bons pour le service, considérés enfin comme des humains a part entière. Cettequétede l'absolu,rlecequ'en Occidentnous intitulons volontiers le Graal, legroupe belge, «Sables», la pratique depuis peu. Quasi novice, le voici néanmoins qui nous offre, avec «Aratribu», une magnifique leçon de bon appétit. Pierre Jacob, Geoff Leigli, Pierre Narcisse et Francis Danlou n' y vont pas parquatre chemins'pournous signaler leursouci d'ouverture. S' ils prennent appui, ici et la, sur des admirations flagrantes, tels Milton Nascimento, Sade, les balançoires et les oiseaux, c' est tout bonnement pour nous faire toucher du doigt leurpropre personnalité. Ils prennent mais donnent plus encore.
