Spherian - Lepidoptera (EP) (2018)

Soon Spherian will be releasing a Single "Fae Eternal" as a teaser of what's to come for the new Concept EP "Lepidoptera". Featuring Spherian's new Vocalist Elisha Wilson. Here is a short synopsis of the EP: The Concept EP "Lepidoptera" tells the story of a race of Faery-like beings that tend to the natural happenings of the world they inhabit. Thinking themselves immortal many of them have lived for centuries comforted in the knowlege that they are eternally at one with nature. Unbeknownst to this race, there is a being that resides in the voids of space that feeds on the destruction of life. It is determined to see, and feed off the despair and ultimate annihilation of these beings and their world.

The annihilation takes place. It erases all existance of the Faeries. The being, however, does not realise that TOTAL distruction has not been completed. There is one survivor.

The Single "Fae Eternal" is about the lone survivor. During the destruction of her race and world, she was protected and cast into a state of hibernation. Upon awakening, she is recalling, and now forced into realisations of the harsh reality that looms before her, and her struggles to come to terms with it.

Ultimately the Concept EP "Lepidoptera" deals with the concpets of life and death, and the transformation that can occur from such cycles.
