GumNotes enables you to attach personal notes to documents, web pages, email messages and most other documents. The program runs in the system tray, from where you can click on the application icon to add a note for the currently active window. GumNotes remembers the note based on the window title, and the next time you open the document or website, the program will display the associated note(s) from the system tray (and optionally alert you with a sound). You can also set a reminder for each note, customize the keywords that are used to match the document title and use custom note colors. Other features include an option to search for notes by keyword, exporting of notes to a text file and synchronization with Simplenote.
