Минимальный размер обрабатываемого изображения 350 х 350 пикселей. С помощью фильтра можно ликвидировать или сгладить ореол, возникающий на границе резких перепадов яркости изображения. Одновременно сглаживаются шумы. В любом случае несколько ухудшается проработка деталей изображения.
