A couple arrives wishing to rent the mansion for the summer, so Ollie poses as the owner, Stan doubles as both butler and maid. The real Colonel Buckshot returns home armed with shotgun, and the boys escape atop a tandem bicycle, dressed as a water buffalo. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Der Großwildjäger Colonel Wilburforce Buckshot verreist nach Afrika und vermietet sein Haus in dieser Zeit. Zufällig finden in eben jenem Haus Stan Laurel und Oliver Hardy Unterschlupf, nachdem sie vor einem beleidigten Polizisten geflohen sind. Als ein am Haus interessiertes Ehepaar auftaucht, verkleiden sich Ollie und Stan als Besitzer und Bedienstete des Hauses, und führen das Paar im Haus herum.
