Maravan, tamilischer Asylbewerber, arbeitet als Hilfskraft in einem Zürcher Sternelokal, weit unter seinem Niveau. Denn Maravan ist ein begnadeter, leidenschaftlicher Koch. Als er gefeuert wird, ermutigt ihn seine Kollegin Andrea zu einem Deal der besonderen Art: einem gemeinsamen Catering für Liebesmenüs. Anfangs kochen sie für Paare, die eine Sexualtherapeutin vermittelt. Doch der Erfolg von »Love Food« spricht sich herum, und eine viel zahlungskräftigere Klientel bekundet Interesse: Männer aus Politik und Wirtschaft – und deren Grauzonen. Maravan hat Sorge, das Geschäft könne »unanständig« werden. Und das wird es. Doch er benötigt das Geld dringend, um seine Familie zu unterstützen…
