Murder Party (2007)

On Halloween Eve in Brooklyn, an average Joe loser named Chris finds an invitation to a costume party. Arriving at the "party", Chris discovers he's fallen prey to the lethal trap set by deranged artists. As the night wears on, rivalries within the group flare up. A body count accrues, and Chris must take advantage of the ensuing chaos if he's to survive the night.

Chris, a likeable average loser with a lousy job and a prescription for anti-depressants, is planning on another lonely Halloween night at home with his cat watching movies like 'Scarewolf' and 'Zombie Versus Unicorn's Horn' on VHS when he finds a mysterious invitation to a "murder party" blowing down the street in the wind. Intrigued, he throws together a cardboard knight costume, bakes some pumpkin bread, prints off a map from Google and heads off into the night to party, not knowing that it's a trap set by deranged art students planning on turning his ritual death into some kind of 'art installation' (they haven't worked out the details yet) in order to compete for an enormous amount of grant money promised by the mysterious Alexander, who has some plans of his own for everyone.



As the night goes on and the intentions of the art collective begin to unravel, drugs and booze are consumed in mass quantities, rivalries within the group come to the breaking point, food allergies are aggravated and the body count begins to rise. Can Chris use the mayhem to his own advantage and escape, or will the murder party go on as planned with him as the guest of honor?
