Based on Giorgio Scerbanenco’s first novel of the Duca Lamberti series, this is the most faithful of the three film adaptations to the source material. Apart from a wild, scenery chewing performance by Mario Adorf in a blonde wig as a photographer who’s obsessed with capturing the fear of his naked models / torture victims on film, this movie also features a very young and incredibly hot Raffaella Carrà in her final film appearence for more than a decade, just before she hit it big as a singer and tv show presenter. Starring Bruno Cremer, Renaud Verley, Marianne Comtell, Claudio Gora, Jean Martin, Marina Berti and Agostina Belli.
