    Xu Sanduo initially was a shy village boy who never had confidence in himself. He used to be bullied by almost everyone in the small village he lived. Sanduo's father disappointed in him for being weak and made Sanduo through cursing and beating.
    One day, Shi Gin, a non-commissioned officer from PLA, appeared in Sanduo's village as a recruiting officer. Sanduo's father is doing his best to pursue recruiting officer to accept Xu Sanduo into Army, being sure that the Army will secure Sanduo's future.
