Dan, an aspiring journalist obituary writer, became engaged to Alice, American stripper in search of fortune in London. But then he knows the photographer Anna falls in love with her and is willing to do anything to it. Chatting under a false identity with a dermatologist and just pretending to Anna, Dan pushes Dr. Larry woman in the arms of the unaware. The two marry, but the writer does not give in: it causes the separation between Larry and Anna, but then ends up being put in the corner is the dermatologist who also gives a sex-club night with Alice. But who is really Alice?
