IdeaFixa is a new international digital magazine - born in Brazil - made to feature photography, design, art and illustration. No text, just visuals… Its objective is inspiration and promotion of the participant artists, and it is scheduled to be released bi-monthly. Every edition has a designated subject, and it seems appropriate to us that a room full of Brazilian designers should explore the subject of "Sex" in Ideafixa's debut issue..

HEAD Magazine was founded in 2003 by Steve Kraitt and Nicolene Hannan, and provides an editorial and advertising-free platform for exhibiting the work of photographers, artists, illustrators and designers.

From the outset, the central ethos and conceptual objective of HEAD Magazine has been to provide artists with a global platform of the “purest” form. It was the primary intention of Steven and Nicolene to create a publication that concerned itself entirely and exclusively with the presentation of visual art, without any of the influence or distraction that editorial association can often apply. HEAD strives to present only the work itself and nothing more; no biographical information regarding the creator/s of the work, no review or assessment of the work, and no other form of written content that could influence or inform the reader further than the immediate emotional response that the work itself prompts.

What is Phirebrush (pronounced: fire-brush)? Well, we in short, we are an online magazine (art group if you want) that displays user submissions in monthly issues. These submissions showcase visitor submitted artwork, photography, music, desktop wallpapers and writings of various styles. Unlike most art groups and e-zines, we let ANYONE submit, trying to showcase both the famous and beginners, giving everyone a voice and a chance in the spotlight.

This is the first time we've offered such a look back but since the participation has been tremendous this year, we figured why not start a new yearly tradition and take a look back at the year that was. I ran across this photo mag when I was lurking on reluct.com and what can I say the images in the magazine are beautiful. The photography work is done by art directors, stylist, illustrators and many other creative people.
