Some people will probably take it wrong, but central Arkansas folk-rock icon Kevin Kerby is a minor leaguer. That's not meant as an insult. Every AA player could play in the major leagues tomorrow; it's only luck or politics or the tyranny of numbers that keeps them from doing so. The Australia based, Bosnia and Herzegovinian, psychedelic-funk creator Hector Gachan is set to released his new album on the Untitled '91. The first track of the eight on the album is the just over four minutes of - which finds the mind tripping with kaleidoscopic haze and the body dipping with the retro-disco beat.

Iranian composer and pianist Siamak Sarmadian presents his third album, Life, a collection of innovative, piano and keyboard-based pieces infused with electronic elements. The eleven songs are uplifting and positive, exploring the natural world and life's mysteries.

Born out of a love for American AOR band The Storm, featuring Journey's Gregg Rolie, Steve Valory, and Steve Smith, drummer Pierpaolo Monti (Charming Grace, Shining Line) joined with keyboardist Davide Barbieri (Wheels of Fire, Charming Grace) to form Raintimes. They in turn recruited Von Groove voice Michael Shotton to handle the vocals, and then added Sven Larsson and Ivan Gonzalez on guitars and Andrea Gipponi on bass to fill out the band. The result of this collaboration is a self-titled debut album of classic AOR melodic hard rock music.
