AZARATH, second band of Behemoth’s drummer – Inferno, has just finished working on its fifth album. It’s hard to deny that this masterpiece of extreme underground metal will be a real breakthrough for this already successful band. Currently the band is finalizing artwork issues – cover of „Blasphemers’ Maledictions” was painted and designed by Zbigniew Bielak (Slayer, Absu, Watain, Destroyer666, Autopsy). Fifth Azarath album will be released worldwide by Witching Hour Productions on 6th June 2011.

This series started out in 1990 as Super Hits, with each issue having a cartoonish photo/drawing as cover art. There were 20 volumes in the original Super Hits series. In 1995, the series was renamed AM Gold. The first four volumes were reissued using the new series title and a modified version of the cover art work from SUD-05, but that was soon replaced with a second AM Gold cover design that featured a gold record. The Super Hits series used the SUD- prefix, while the AM Gold series used the AM1- prefix. In the late 1990s, the AM1- prefix was replaced with the R834- prefix, but the volumes continued as before. Two AM Gold budget box sets were introduced in the late 1990s, with 12 tracks instead of the usual 18-24. These were meant for retail sales, unlike the normal subscription CDs.

…Last Day in Paradise, they explore a brand of instrumental rock via a jazz trio format. According to Alex’s website the band has reworked hard rock and metal classics in a jazz style. Now on this new one they do that plus create some original works. Joining guitarist Alex (Guitars, loop programming and vocals) are Nathan Peck (double bass and vocals) and Matt Zebroski (drums and vocals).

Wilms was the most important composer in the Amsterdam music world during the first half of the 19th century, but only few of his Symphonies are available on CD. Born in Germany two years after Beethoven, he was influenced by the works of Haydn and Mozart.
Critically acclaimed Radio Chamber Orchestra (40 piece) toured worldwide and is well known for interpretations of Mozart, Haydn and Beethoven, but also of modern compositions. Anthony Halstead, born in Manchester (UK), conducted a.o. the Bach programme at BBC Proms.

Jazz / Post Bop / Piano

After a flurry of recordings for Blue Note during the 1960s, Andrew Hill didn't make another album as a leader until this Steeplechase studio session in 1974. Not that the pianist was inactive during this five-year stretch; he was performing concerts, teaching at Colgate University, and also writing for string quartets and symphony orchestras. This trio date with bassist Chris White and drummer Art Lewis features five original compositions, beginning with the turbulent but enticing "Catfish," which alternates between post-bop and avant-garde.

What It's All About is swinging, building up solos to potentially ferocious levels and going for broke. That was always the philosophy that Roy Eldridge followed and, even though it was rather late in his career by the time he recorded this Pablo CD resissue, he was still pushing himself. ~ AllMusic

One of the more remarkable aspects of Stan Getz's 1972 masterpiece is just how organic he was able to keep the sound. The band surrounding Getz on this Columbia date was led by Chick Corea with his Return to Forever (electric) bassist Stanley Clarke, drummer Tony Williams, and Brazilian master percussionist Airto. ~ AllMusic
