On the 19th of April 2011 the new May edition of Sonic Seducer magazine will be out including a special musical highlight: the exclusive 5 track “Melusine” EP from Leaves’Eyes. The “Melusine” EP contains exclusive tracks and versions of songs which have not been released in this form previously. The title track was recorded only for this EP and this edition of Sonic Seducer magazine.

Superb compilation album by the vocal group 'Joven América' (1970-76), released in 1977 in Spain by Belter label. This group, created in the late 60's by the musician, pianist and songwriter Willy Bascuñán (Chile), performed during those years in Spain, (where he was presented by Juan Manuel Serrat), Switzerland and Germany with recognized success. The group, with an exquisite vocal combination, provided the fusion of electronic and vernacular instruments with South American folk roots songs.

Thorn is an exclusive and limited 7" vinyl EP by the legendary Enslaved, released by Soulseller Records on August 27th, 2011 in a strictly limited number of 1000 copies. Produced by Enslaved's own Ivar Bjørnson and Iver Sandøy (whom the band has worked with since last year's Axioma Ethica Odini), the release features the songs "Disintegrator" and "Striker", both of which are eerie and atmospheric nodding towards Enslaved's edgier-monotonous past and dark-psychedelic present.

Ruthie Foster is an American singer-songwriter of blues and folk music. Foster is from Gause, Texas and comes from a family of gospel singers. She studied music at McLennan Community College and then worked in the US Navy, where she started performing. Her debut was released in 1997 and she has performed in North America, Europe and Australia. She has often been compared to Ella Fitzgerald and Aretha Franklin.

"The Other Side of Life" is the twelfth album by the rock band The Moody Blues. It contains the major hit, "Your Wildest Dreams", which, like "Nights in White Satin" before it, was a top-10 hit in the United States. It is the third album of the Patrick Moraz era, and the first for flautist and vocalist Ray Thomas not to play a major role.
The music on this album marked the beginning of dominant synthesiser, sequencer, and drum machine use by the band, to the point that the entire album could be classified as a "synthpop" record; a surprising stylistic change for a band that had pioneered symphonic rock.

The third of Oscar Peterson's five duet albums with great trumpeters (the other encounters feature Dizzy Gillespie, Roy Eldridge, Clark Terry, and Jon Faddis) teams the masterful pianist with the great swing stylist Harry "Sweets" Edison. The trumpeter, who uses repetition to great degree and had pared his style down to a relatively few notes, matches well with the virtuosic Peterson on these seven standards and their two simple originals, "Basie" and "Signify." Together Edison and O.P. give the impression that their chance-taking improvisations are completely logical and a lot easier to play than they really are.
