Sons of Satan Gather for Attack is a split album between Dimmu Borgir and Old Man's Child. It is actually a compilation of two EPs: Dimmu Borgir's Devil's Path, and Old Man's Child's In the Shades of Life. It was originally released in 1999 as Devil's Path/In the Shades of Life by Hammerheart Records.

"Year Zero" is a well crafted album although very much in the vein of their earlier work does add the fresh mellotron of Dean Baker. "Year Zero" is an exceptionally well recorded album with the mixing, the mastering sounding incredible… likely GALAHAD's best sounding album yet. As usual GALAHAD deliver an album although very much rooted in the classic prog vein draw on modern modal aspects. John Wetton (ASIA - KING CRIMSON) guests on this album and mixes very well against Stu Nicholson's angelic vocals.

The Enid have remained, for almost all of their 25 year plus 'life' - outside the mainstream. The profits of this approach show in their music. Sundialer has a stab at dance (Sundialer & Ultra Violet Cat) but it also rocks with the superb Dark Hydraulic. With two more remixes (Salome 95 & Chaldean Crossing) this album refuses to be pigeon holed - but then that's The Enid for you! Bold, beautiful and still better than most…
