Un film qui narre les dernières 48 heures du Christ. Ecrit, réalisé et interprété par Jean-Claude La Marre, le film pourrait carrément s'apparenter à de la blaxploitation si nous étions pas dans les années 70. Car, dans COLOR OF THE CROSS, Jésus est noir et le film tendrait à insinuer que sa crucifixion aurait été motivée, en partie (?), par des questions raciales ! C'est la FOX qui distribuera le DVD aux Etats-Unis. Bizarrement, il est annoncé en sous-titrage français ce qui s'avère plutôt surprenant puisque l'éditeur n'est pas coutumier du fait.
A la différence de la "Passion du Christ", "Color of the Cross" ne s'attarde pas sur les sévices sanglants qu'a subis le Christ lors de sa crucifixion, mais choisit plutôt de raconter l'énorme tourment qui l'accable face à la mort qui proche. En ce sens, le film se concentre plus sur les aspects humains de l'histoire du Christ. "Color of the Cross" a pour ambition d'éveiller la curiosité intellectuelle des spectateurs.

Delphine's traveling companion cancels two weeks before her holiday, so Delphine, a Parisian secretary, is at loose ends. She doesn't want to travel by herself, but has no boyfriend and seems unable to meet new people. A friend takes her to Cherbourg; after a few days there, the weepy and self-pitying Delphine goes back to Paris. She tries the Alps, but returns the same day. Next, it's the beach: once there, she chats with an outgoing Swede, a party girl, and a friendship seems to bud; then, suddenly, Delphine bolts, heading back to Paris. It is an obscure movie in spite of its nomination and it is difficult to find on IMDb unless one searches diligently and perseveres in the search. Others have told you what this documentary is. It follows the family of one of the candidates in the 2005 election. You see what their day to day life is like in present day Baghdad. Whether you believe we belong there or not, this is a must-see film
