In the '40 Mariale is an eight year old girl.Powerless,she witnesses the death of her mother and of her young lover,both killed in cold blood by her father. Years have passed and Mariale has married a young nobleman who keeps her almost captive in an old estate forbidding her to take part in society's life. A sort of love-and-hate relationship has developed between the two characters. One day Mariale decides to put an end to her seclusion; she eludes her husband's and the butler watchful vigilance, breaks the phone's padlock and sends several telegrams inviting friends for a evening at her home.

This bizarre film by one of the most original directors now working in Germany is hermetic, expressionist, oblique, and of a creative perversity that bespeaks the presence of a genius. Purporting to deal with a real-life 19th century diva 'whose popularity was such that over-exertion led to her death while singing,' the film is actually a grisly series of frozen or tortured tableaux (predominantly lesbian in implication) of heavily rouged, frequently ugly women who, pretending to sing heavy opera, go through contorted, icy attempts at communication that lead nowhere.

A teenage couple making out in the woods accidentally runs over an alien creature with their car. The creature's hand falls off, but it comes alive, and, with an eye growing out of it, begins to stalk the teens. Meanwhile, Joe the town drunk wants to store the body in his refrigerator, but some of the alien's buddies inject alcohol into his system, and Joe dies of an overdose.

One story is a girl doing poorly in school so she sleeps with her teacher to get good grades and this follows with the teacher going home and raping his unwilling wife. We get a couple other misfits who sleep with incoming football players and we also get a wild party at the end where LSD is dropped, which leads to a bunch of topless dancing. As far as sexploitation films go this one here isn't too bad, although if you're expecting something great then you need to stay away from this film as well as every sexploitation film made.
