    Поэтому в течение двух минувших столетий иллюстраторы детских книг разрешали метафоре цвести пышным цветом. Можно не искать эту метафору в словах рассказчика. художник все показывает сам на страницах книги.
    Книга «Когда мы были детьми» представляет обзор книжной иллюстрации в странах Европы и Америки от Уильяма Блейка до начала телевизионной эры в 1950 году. В своей вступительной статье Уильям Фивер рассматривает вопросы техники, источников, влияний и стилей, а также говорит о творчестве таких иллюстраторов, как Тэнниел, Крейн, Дойл, Рэкем, Беатрикс Поттер, Генрих Гофман, Крукшанк, У. Хит Робинсон, Лир, Мервин Пик и многие другие.

    Такой вот блок книг по Oracle. Поскольку нигде не стоит ISBN, то я так понимаю, что эти книги являются просто переводами оракловских руководств. Но переводы качественные (посмотрел) и книги полезые. Надеюсь, что на фоне общей нехватки книг в электронном виде по Oracle, пригодятся.
