Nuclear Assault were among thrash metal's most socially aware groups in their careening speed metal riffing. One of the Big Apple's few challengers (along with Anthrax and Overkill) to the Bay Area dominance of all things thrash metal, Nuclear Assault became immediate contenders due to the cumulative sum of its parts – not to mention, their extreme nature and their ability to back it up with solid musicianship. They also remained closer to the world of hardcore than most of their peers, and at their late-'80s peak released some of the most uncompromising (albeit, interesting) thrash metal offerings of the time. Sadly, because they lacked any commercial material, Nuclear Assault would never reach the mainstream acceptance of a Metallica or Megadeth…

Waiting for the opening of the subway. Phantasmagoria with electric swamp and its mechanical residents, neon forest and haze where it is so easy to get lost. A ball of urban weekdays. Pathos of the authorities and poverty in homes. Mass migration. Prostration. Arizona desert, dust in the eyes. Average European July in the eastern traditions of Zen. Indulging in free and unpredictable, but clever improvisations, the author creates a gallery of abstract shapes, as elusive as dreams.

Immense and versatile is the heavenly element. Creating its images, the composer uses the processed sounds of acoustic and electric guitars and a lot of field recordings and demonstrates the true art of minimalism. Sound structures evolve from dense to more transparent, and you seem to come off the ground and lift slowly to the twilight air depths. Graceful melodies interweave into the pulsating rhythm, forming a charming cyclic tracery. You are free from gravity, and only the boundless vastness is all around you. You are immersing yourself into the sky - it is swallowing you up within its ambient atmosphere.

Human desire for discoveries in the universe is irresistible and gives the power to solve the most complex problems. Space voyagers have to overcome great distances, avoid impacts of asteroids and guard the against deadly stellar wind and not to get lost in space. And a new planet appears within eyeshot. It reveals itself as a small ball in the illuminator, but then it slowly unfolds its surface in front of enchanted gaze and finally forms the horizon. Exciting sense of discovery fills the daring hearts and mixes with alarming presentiment of unknown danger, which may lurk in this wonderful alien world…

Tales of the nature that never existed. The nature, that forms only within human imagination: fragile and impossible, thrilling and especially individual, mixed with scraps of reminiscence from reality. Weaving flowing ambient sound structures and hypnotic repetitive rhythms, skillfully combining melodic themes and minimalistic elements, the author creates outlandish scenery of this dreamlike nature at the border of two worlds: earthly and extramundane.

Machiavel’s album "Acoustic" was recorded in 2008 during the unplugged tour. The recording perfectly recreates the warm-hearted and intimate ambience of the acoustic concerts.The sound is a mix of acoustic guitars, piano, Indian organ, percussions and vocals. The titles come from their original repertoire. They were all rearranged, some in a very different manner, giving surprising results. We hear “Washing their hands” in a jazzy arrangement, "Ronny Runs" in oriental mood, "Over the Hill" in a new acoustical reggae version and "Rope Dancer" lead by the grand piano.

This album is definately one of a kind and Ray Conniff never bettered this, albeit short era in his long career. The production sound is utterly unique to the era and can never be repeated. The vocal 'wall of harmony' with distinctive reverb, the bass drum sound, the all swinging, tambourine-shakin' production style that can never be re-captured.

Alternate footage, previously unreleased live performances, and brand new behind-the-scenes material from the pioneering prog rock band's 2003 World Tour are among the sensational content fans have been dying to see since it was omitted from the tour's original video release.
