Hot 'N' Nasty takes 31 tracks and spreads them across two discs, competently representing Humble Pie's blues boogie sound through the span of nine albums. Not only does this set compile the most worthy material from the band, but it also demonstrates how their sound changed slightly as the 1970s progressed. "Hot 'n' Nasty" was the sixth single by English rock outfit Humble Pie, one of the first supergroups of the 1960s-'70s. Released in 1972, the song peaked at #52 on the US Billboard Hot 100 singles chart. The B-side is "You're So Good for Me".

Reunited New York death metallers SKINLESS will defile the ears of the living this June with their first new studio offering in nearly a decade. Titled "Only The Ruthless Remain", and featuring the band's classic late '90s lineup, SKINLESS's new CD is described in a press release as "a prime slab of truly brutal death metal." Recorded by Tom Case at Edie Road Studio and Doomsday Bunker Studio, both in upstate New York, with vocals tracked by Dave Otero (CEPHALIC CARNAGE, PRIMITIVE MAN) at Flatline Audio in Denver, Colorado, and mastered by Brad Boatright (OBITUARY, NAILS, INTEGRITY) at Audiosiege in Portland, Oregon, the effort boasts seven tracks of SKINLESS's signature fusion of punishing, concussively heavy grooves and surgically precise, blasting severity.

Now we have Sina Vodjani’s account – in three media – of his own odyssey towards Zoroaster and Zoroastrianism. Vodjani, son of an Iranian father and a French mother, was born in Iran (in 1954), in the beautiful city of Isfahan, and grew up in Tehran, San Francisco and Paris. Now living in Germany, he started his musical career singing pop songs and French chansons. He later studied classical and flamenco guitar.

Traffic was an English rock band whose members came from the West Midlands. The group formed in April 1967 by Steve Winwood, Jim Capaldi, Chris Wood and Dave Mason. They began as a psychedelic rock group whose early singles were influenced by The Beatles,[citation needed] and diversified their sound through the use of instruments such as keyboards like the Mellotron and harpsichord, sitar, and various reed instruments, and by incorporating jazz and improvisational techniques in their music. I really just wanted to buy It's the Talk of the Town as a single download but could not find the song anywhere except as part of a CD. The CD actually had 2 albums in it - It's the Talk of the Town and Young at Heart. Ray Conniff music is one of those old time groups that had a distinctive sound.

Stuart John Wolstenholme (15 April 1947 – 13 December 2010), usually known as Woolly Wolstenholme, was vocalist and keyboard player with the British progressive rock band Barclay James Harvest. His first instrument was a tenor banjo, which he took up at the age of twelve, and he also played tenor horn for the Delph band. He met John Lees at Oldham School Of Art and Woolly played tambourine and sang with John in The Sorcerers, then The Keepers, where Woolly played whatever instrument was required, such as harmonica and twelve-string guitar.
