"Live in Concert - Original 40th Anniversary Show" is the title of the Jane's concert, which was filmed in the “Downtown Bluesclub” in Hamburg, 2010 with Jutta Weinhold as special guest. Thunder in the East is Japanese heavy metal band Loudness' fifth studio album and the first released by a major American label, after the contract signed with Atco Records, a subsidiary of Warner Music Group. All the songs are in English. It is the first Loudness album produced by Max Norman, who also produced the album Lightning Strikes in 1986 and the album Soldier of Fortune in 1989. Thunder in the East features the single "Crazy Nights", Loudness' biggest hit in America, and the power ballad "Never Change Your Mind". Released in 2000, Drivin' off the Edge of the World is the fifth studio album by Canadian melodic rockers Von Groove. This is a band that deserved far more attention when they debuted in 1992, so it's nice to see that they stuck together and continued releasing albums long after this kind of music fell out of favor with mainstream audiences. It's also nice to know that the band has not compromised their sound in any way. While they've obviously gained in maturity and experience, the music on Drivin' off the Edge of the World is stylistically very similar to what you'd find on Von Groove's self-titled debut. This is solid melodic hard rock music from start to finish, and confirms Von Groove's status as one of the best bands in the genre.

By the time this album was recorded in 1962, singer June Christy had already cut the great bulk of her discography. Many, critics especially, put her past her prime. This album demonstrates that the critics were wrong and the "Misty Miss Christy" was still at the top of her form. Her instantly recognizable voice takes the listener through a roster of tunes associated with the big bands. Gismonti began his formal music studies at the age of six on piano. After studying classical music for 15 years, he went to Paris to study orchestration and analysis with Nadia Boulanger and the composer Jean Barraqué, a disciple of Schoenberg and Webern. After his return to Brazil, Gismonti began to explore other musical genres. He was attracted by Ravel's approach to orchestration and chord voicings, as well as by "choro", a Brazilian instrumental popular music featuring various types of guitars.
