Finalist of the last season of Dancing with the Stars, discovery in the musical comedy "1789, Les Amants de la Bastille" and "The Legend of King Arthur", Camille Lou finally presents its first album !

Following on from 2016's Amorandom, Finnish pianist Aki Rissanen has produced yet another satisfying album. Born in 1980 he has already released nine albums as leader or co-leader. Rissanen studied classical piano at Finland's Kuopio Conservatory from 1990-2000 and then jazz music at Helsinki Polytechnic School and in 2009 gained a Master's degree in jazz piano and composition from the Sibelius Academy Jazz Department, also in Helsinki. He also studied improvised music at Conservatoire National Superieur de Musique in Paris.

Combining recordings from shows in December 1963 and August 1964 at Memorial Auditorium in Sacramento, California, Concert is the Beach Boys' first number one album, certified gold in the US and one of the last live documents of the original band with Brian Wilson, who would not perform in concert with the group for another 10 years.

Sometimes it takes a personal tragedy to catalyse an artist’s practise, a crack in everything, to paraphrase Leonard Cohen, that let’s the creative light in. Just such a traumatic fissure occurred in Charlotte Gainsbourg’s life in late 2013 with the sudden death in Paris of her half-sister, the fashion photographer Kate Barry. Reeling from the news and inevitably plunged into an extended period of grieving, the distressing event had transpired just as Charlotte was initiating activity on a new album, the successor to 2010’s IRM.

Music maestro Jools Holland releases the incredible collaborative new album with legendary Latin musician José Feliciano. The 14-track album includes iconic covers from a wide range of artists such as Stevie Wonders Treat Myself, Lead Bellys Midnight Special and the timeless soul classic, Percy Mayfields Hit The Road Jack.

Tamsin Waley-Cohen is joined by pianist Huw Watkins for a new disc exploring folk-inspired Bohemia from before the First World War – featuring works by Antonin Dvořák, Josef Suk and Leoš Janáček.This disc followsTamsin’s recent critically-praised disc of Roy Harris and John Adams’ Violin Concertos with the BBC Symphony Orchestra, as well as previous discs with Huw Watkins exploring some lesser-known gems of the violin and Piano repertoire.

This recording collects - for the first time - the major orchestral works of iconic composer, arranger and producer George Martin. Performed by the Berlin Music Ensemble conducted by Craig Leon, the album features music from the films Yellow Submarine, Live and Let Die and the previously unrecorded choral and orchestral score for The Mission. Also included are the Overture to Under Milk Wood, the suite Three American Sketches and other previously unreleased original compositions.
