Grammy Award-winning Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees Green Day will release Greatest Hits: God’s Favorite Band on 17th November. The album includes 20 hits spanning the band’s prolific 21 years as a band, plus a brand new song called “Back In The USA” and a new duet with award-winning Country Music superstar Miranda Lambert on “Ordinary World.” On 22nd March, God miraculously came down to the Ed Sullivan Theatre to introduce Green Day as “God’s Favorite Band” on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. When God speaks people listen, and he granted Green Day the title: Greatest Hits: God’s Favorite Band.

Ever since I started releasing records in 2007 (10 years ago now!), people have contacted me periodically to ask if I’d be interested in making music to accompany their projects. Most of these projects have been things like films, dance pieces and theatre plays . . . but every so often I get the odd request for something a little different. Peter, would you write a song for my wedding? My one year anniversary? A ferry boat ride?

Low in High School is Morrissey’s first studio album since 2014 and was recorded at La Fabrique Studios in France and in Rome at Ennio Morricone’s Forum Studios.

Picture This are an Irish duo composed of Ryan Hennessy (vocals and guitar) and Jimmy Rainsford (drums). As childhood friends who grew up in Athy, County Kildare and attended the same school, they first embarked on music-making in 2015. In October of that year, Hennessy recorded the song "Take My Hand" on his iPhone and uploaded it to Facebook and YouTube. The clip accumulated 1.2 million views across both sites. Following the huge success of the video, the duo were forced to move their debut gig from the Grand Social in Dublin to the larger capacity Academy. The achievement made them the first band in the venue's history to sell out their debut gig.

After several recordings on Ricercar and a first disc on Alpha, Actus Tragicus, containing early Bach cantatas, ‘of staggering profundity, purity and beauty’ (ffff Télérama), Lionel Meunier and his ensemble Vox Luminis devote this new project to two showpieces by Handel and Bach.

The Brussels Philharmonic and music director Stéphane Denève will appear on Deutsche Grammophon. Brussels Philharmonic is the first symphony orchestra in Belgium to work with this record label. For its second recording with the more than 100-year-old Deutsche Grammophon, the orchestra opted for the ballet music of Sergei Prokofiev. Denève’s touch is clearly noticeable: he created a new musical dramaturgy, choosing from the existing suites, giving rise to new and exciting combinations.
