When Hold The Line crashed into the charts all over the world in 1978 Toto had no idea how long their career would last. 40 years later Toto celebrate their career with this stunning concert at Amsterdam’s Ziggodome performing their monster hits Africa, Rosanna, Hold The Line, Stop Loving Youand many more. In addition 40 Tours Around The Sun features a Storytellers segment in which the band’s four key figures, David Paich, Steve Lukather, Steve Porcaro and Joseph Williams, plunder their back catalogue, describe the background behind their first demo and reveal the genesis of Michael Jackson’s Human Naturewritten by the band’s Steve Porcaro. In front of 17,000 fans this concert features songs from Toto’s first album to their latest release and includes rarely played gems such as the complex instrumental Jake To The Boneand the theme to David Lynch’s Dune.

Deutsche Grammophon will release the official soundtrack album for the biographical drama The White Crow. The album features the film’s original score composed by Ilan Eshkeri (Stardust, Layer Cake, Still Alice, Kick-Ass, Johnny English Reborn) and featuring violin solos by Lisa Batiashvili. Also included are ballet compositions by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, Alexander Krein & Ludwig Minkus, most of which have been newly arranged for the project by Eshkeri. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, March 22.

“Avec Le Temps” is the new exciting Giovanni Guidi’s project: the band has recorded an album for ECM that will be released on March 2019 and it is composed by the most talented italian musicians: Francesco Bearzatti on tenor sax/clarinet (the most important italian sax player of the new generation), Roberto Cecchetto on guitar (during his intense career he met on his path great musicians as Enrico Rava, Paolo Fresu, Richard Galliano and many others), Thomas Morgan on bass (he recently recorded a beautiful duo album with Bill Frisell) and Joao Lobo on drums (Giovanni Guidi long time collaborator). All the band members share the same idea: making music with an immediate impact, focusing on lyrical and melodic aspects not leaving aside the chance to take a journey to new and unknown territories.

The 11 all-new original songs were written by Lewis and recorded at Capitol Records’ Studio B, andfeature a backing band of legendary talent including Beck, Benmont Tench, Don Was, Jim Keltner, Ringo Starr and Ryan Adams.

Jack Savoretti returns with stunning new album ‘Singing to Strangers’. Produced by Cam Blackwood (George Ezra) and recorded in Rome at Ennio Morricone’s studio in the long, hot summer of 2018, the 12 track album features Jack’s acclaimed live band: guitarists Pedro Vito and Sam Lewis; bassist Sam Davies, drummer Jesper Lind and musical director Nikolai Torp on keys. “Lucikly Morricone’s studio is in the basement of this huge church so it was cooler,” Jack says. “And the atmosphere down there was essential and that was captured on ‘Candlelight’, which became the calling card of the album”
