Ambulance is a 2022 American action thriller film directed and produced by Michael Bay. A co-production between New Republic Pictures, Bay Films, Endeavor Content, and Project X Entertainment, it is based on the 2005 Danish film of the same name [da] by Laurits Munch-Petersen and Lars Andreas Pedersen.

Holkenborg encompasses the essence of Sonic, bringing the iconic chip sounds from SEGA to the big screen with a thrilling and exciting score that beautifully compliments the film.

The release coincides with the 115th anniversary of Price’s birth. Two recordings of works by Florence Price are firsts. Ethiopia's Shadow in America is the first recording of the work by an American orchestra. Her Piano Concerto in One Movement, with soloist Michelle Cann, is the premiere recording of the composer’s newly-discovered original orchestration. Price’s compositional voice blends the African American folk songs and dances of her heritage with the central European Romantic tradition in which she was trained. Her tone poem Ethiopia’s Shadow in America evokes the injustices experienced by people of African descent. Umoja – meaning "unity" in Swahili – by Grammy-nominated flutist, entrepreneur and composer Valerie Coleman originated as a simple song for women’s choir. Its transformation as a work for orchestra – given its first recording here – maintains its feel of a drum circle and sharing of history through a traditional “call and response” form. In her rich and colorful single-movement symphonic work Soul Force, Jessie Montgomery drew on Dr. Martin Luther King’s "I Have a Dream" speech in which he states, "We must not allow our creative protest to degenerate into physical violence. Again and again, we must rise to the majestic heights of meeting physical force with soul force".

HEALTH have announced DISCO4 :: PART II, the follow-up to 2020’s DISCO4 :: PART I. The project will be released on April 8, 2022, via Loma Vista Recordings. The 12-song LP includes their recent collaborations with Nine Inch Nails and Poppy alongside new tracks with Lamb of God, The Body, Backxwash, Perturbator, and others, and closes with a new original HEALTH single, “THESE DAYS 2.0.2.1.”.

Bronco is the new album from country artist and songwriter Orville Peck. A consummate storyteller, the country rock inspired Bronco plays upon the horse theme so often found in Orville’s work, but this time with an exploration of freedom, breaking free from that which binds us and all that is wild and untamed. Bronco builds upon and follows Peck’s previous album Pony and EP Show Pony, which explored themes of love, loss and loneliness but advances the story arc in a bolder, newer and warmer trajectory.

Loraine James has processed the last two years of turbulence through her art. The North London producer started a monthly show on NTS radio, shared several projects on Bandcamp, and recorded two Hyperdub releases, the Nothing EP and Reflection, the proper LP follow-up to her 2019 breakthrough, For You and I (which landed James, then a teaching assistant by day, the top spot on year-end lists by Quietus and DJ Mag).

Many women did not have the same opportunities as men to compose and publicly share their musical ideas and lead public lives as composers, with some having their freedom limited by ill health or because family or society had different plans for them. Through the ages, female composers encountered considerable difficulties, often with fewer opportunities, support and education, even when they were members of the upper social classes. They were not in a position to enjoy worldwide fame, but several of them accomplished a great deal. Strong women, in other words.

Thom Yorke of Radiohead has shared a new song titled “That’s How Horses Are,” his second contribution to the final season of the British drama series Peaky Blinders. Yorke released “5.17,” another track he’d written for Peaky Blinders, in mid-March. Series director Anthony Byrne told NME earlier this year that Yorke and Jonny Greenwood had written original music for the show. “The music has always been really important historically, and I was really keen to bring a dramatic score into it,” he said.
