Loaded Deck is a greatest hits compilation of Ace Frehley's solo career released in 1997, after the widespread Kiss reunion tour. It includes some of Frehley's greatest hits such as "New York Groove", "Rock Soldiers", and a cover of The Move's "Do Ya". Combining six previously released songs with two unreleased songs and four live tracks, Loaded Deck is actually more consistent than some of the official studio albums Ace recorded during the '80s. Re-converted Kiss fans curious about Frehley's solo career may want to check this out, since it's as good a place as any to catch the highlights.

Veteran Italian rock band Pooh formed in Bologna in 1966. During the late '60s, the band featured Roby Facchinetti, Valerio Negrini, Dodi Battaglia, and Riccardo Fogli, but after Negrini left in 1971, the band recruited guitarist, bassist, and vocalist Red Canzian plus drummer and percussionist Stefano D'Orazio, and began a long run as one of the best and most popular Italian rockers of their times. The band recorded for many labels, including CBS, Vedette, CGD (Compagnia Generale del Disco), and Warner Music Italy, selling over 100 million records in the process.

Back in 1997, Led Zeppelin released BBC Sessions, the band's first attempt to chronicle its heavily bootlegged live recordings for the British Broadcasting Corporation. That double-disc set didn't contain all of Zep's BBC Sessions: a full nine songs from 1969 were left behind, including three songs recorded in March – a session highlighted by the otherwise unavailable original "Sunshine Woman" – that were believed to be lost. The 2016 triple-disc set The Complete BBC Sessions adds those songs as a third disc to a remastered version of the original 1997 compilation, an addition that doesn't greatly alter the overall picture of Zeppelin's BBC Sessions but offers a whole lot of additional value…

In the Eighties NOVELA was a pivotal Japanese band that gradually turned from heavy progressive into hardrock. Their keyboardist TOSHIO EGAWA left NOVELA to start his own band with a bunch of musicians from which guitarist and singer YUKIHIRO FUJIMURA (ex-VIENNA) was the most known. The first two albums "Gerard" ('84) and "Empty Lie, Empty Dream" ('85) are classic Japanese Prog with Toshio Egawa (his mother was a piano teacher) as the Japanese answer to the great keyboard players from the UK: he has the androgyn looks from EDDIE JOBSON, the elegant virtuosity from RICK WAKEMAN and the bombastic approach from KEITH EMERSON.
