The Last Straw was recorded on multitrack at the final show of the highly acclaimed Clutching at Straws/ Weltschmerz tour in the O2 in Glasgow on 13th December 2018.

Born in Stuttgart as the daughter of a pair of pianists, Olivia Trummer initially trained in classical music, but even then she flirted with jazz as a highly present form of spontaneous expression. Under the influence of song monoliths such as Steely Dan's Donald Fagen, the coordinates of free music, song structure and classical music finally found their own musical language, always turned towards the sublime. Now she adds a 9th album to her versatile discography.

The musical production of Francesco Saverio Geminiani is totally focused on instrumental music, and includes two collections of violin sonatas, one of cello sonatas, three of concerti grossi, two of Pièces de Clavecin, and a series of transcriptions and revisions of works by other important Italian composers such as Arcangelo Corelli and Francesco Mancini.

Entitled "Soirées de Viene" (Vienna Evenings), this recording contains music linked to the imperial city and the piano, and to the enviable bourgeois musical culture of these time periods. The album features Schubert’s piano pieces, the waltzes of Liszt and Schubert, and the waltzes of Johann Strauss re-imagined for the piano.

Noah Max – born into a musical family in London in 1998 – has already carved out an impressive career as a composer and conductor; he is also an accomplished painter and a poet.

This third volume of orchestral music by the Anglo-French composer Steve Elcock (born 1957) features two symphonies and a quasi-concerto. Over the course of its two movements, the Sixth Symphony, which bears the title "Tyrants Destroyed", moves from grief to outrage, rising to a grimly triumphant conclusion.
