Dolly Parton tends to release records for a reason. Unlike her Seventies contemporary Willie Nelson, who, at a dozen years her senior, records albums for no other purpose than to suit his own whims, Parton’s release schedule over the past half-dozen years has largely served as an extension of her unceasing global brand: 2016’s Pure & Simple, her last album of adult originals not directly tied to a larger piece of Dolly multimedia, launched a worldwide tour and kickstarted the ongoing Parton revival.

The 'sympathetic madness' was exactly that spark that continued to distinguish the instrumental production of the 'Neapolitans' and which also transpires from the literature by Barbella dedicated to almandol, an instrument very dear to aristocratic circles as can now be deduced, in a self-evident way, from recent studies on this tool always betrayed by a history that relegated it exclusively to a 'street' or just 'popular' practice.

Aska Matsumiya is a classically-trained pianist, composer and producer based in Los Angeles.Matsumiya's career in scoring music to film kicked off when Spike Jonze asked if he could use her music as the lead track for his short film, I'm Here. The soundtrack went on to pick up the award for 'Best Original Music' at the AICP Awards, and Aska has never looked back.
Most recently, Matsumiya has been busy putting the finishing touches to A24's up-coming release After Yang, where she has partnered with legendary Japanese composer, Ryuichi Sakamoto. This highly anticipated release is directed by Kogonada and stars Colin Farrell.

ALL THAT OUR MOTHERS HAVE FOUGHT is a collection of contemporary, Norwegian choral works portraying strong women. The music illustrate some of the many storms that women have had to – and still have to – weather. They tell stories about the women’s suffrage movement, about a Syrian student risking her life to complete her medical education, and about a small girl’s defiance. All these stories open our eyes to different viewpoints on women’s struggles.

Take on further challenges! An ambitious work that also arranged the Beethoven Symphony. This work includes a special piano version of "Floyde" arranged by Miyuji Kaneko from Beethoven's Symphonies Nos. 9 to 4 arranged by Liszt. "Froide" is a song that will be unveiled for the first time in the world at the recital to commemorate the 10th anniversary of Japan's debut in March. In addition, love from all over the world, such as "Ave Maria" by Schubert (arranged by Liszt), "Ave Verum Corpus" by Mozart (arranged by Liszt), and "Air on the G String" by JS Bach arranged by Kaneko. A total of 4 songs will be recorded, including famous songs that continue to be played.
