Silver & Gold is the 23rd studio album by Canadian / American musician Neil Young, released on April 25, 2000. Many of these songs were written in the late 1990s, though the title track was written in 1981; by his own estimation, he had been trying to get "the take" on this song for around ten years.

As lockdown approached in 2020, Chicago-based singer Lili Trifilio was wrapping up a tour in support of Beach Bunny's debut album, Honeymoon. Suddenly, she found herself back at her parents' house, coping with her new reality. To deal, she retreated into sci-fi stories and her always-active imagination. She envisioned new places to travel in her mind, thus dreaming up big, bombastic pop sounds to construct Beach Bunny's highly anticipated sophomore album, Emotional Creature.

After nearly three years and sixty demos, Launder's full-length debut is Happening. In 2019, Orange County-raised, Los Angeles-based musician John Cudlip signed to Ghostly International to build his recording project, developed out of casual sessions with friends Jackson Phillips (Day Wave), Soko, and Zachary Cole Smith (DIIV). Rafael Anton Irisarri’s works from Room40 have always dwelled in a place of pressure. His low fre-quency excursions have charted out a unique voyage into a territory in which texture and density are equally matched to create a visceral, but ultimately comforting zone of entanglement. At the same time as completing his Solastalgia edition, Irisarri recorded Agitas Al Sol. Like its sibling work, this album is an enveloping sonic drift that traces across the unsteady topographies of the anthro-pocene. It moves in deep exhales, drawing from within and pressing outward into a sound vista that is effortlessly deep.

Some musical minds just need to be creative. There is just a longing desire inside to create something tenable and to leave a lasting mark on the musical landscape. One such mind is that of vocalist/guitarist Alfie Glass, leading to the creation of TORUS. Fortunately for him he has found his musical counterpart in the form of Harry Quinn, and through their love of massive riffs and and infectious melodies the band grew to be something truly impressive, recruiting new drummer Jack Orr in the process. Come from the Shadows is an 1972 album by Joan Baez. After recording for the independent label Vanguard for more than a decade, Baez signed with A&M, and attempted to point her career in a slightly more "commercial" direction (though the album still had overtly political overtones)

The African Beat is a jazz album released by Art Blakey and The Afro-Drum Ensemble in November 1962 on Blue Note Records.

The schizophrenic psych-metal band King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard have released the third and fourth volumes of their excellent Demos series, and they're also encouraging their fans to bootleg the set. The 26-song collection is available now on Bandcamp and spans the group's short but nonetheless prolific career, including outtakes from their most recent LP, Omnium Gatherum.
