Buffalo Springfield were a Canadian–American rock band formed in Los Angeles by three Canadians (Neil Young, Bruce Palmer, Dewey Martin) and two Americans (Stephen Stills, Richie Furay).

Jazz Loves Paris is an album by multi-instrumentalist and composer Buddy Collette recorded in early 1958 and released on the Specialty label in 1960.

This is his second solo album recorded with his new guitar, made by Szontágh Dániel (Serum Guitars) for Arif's percussive guitar technique. Ece Dede is the name of the guitar, which means: The queen of deers. The title of this album, Su means: Water. In Arif's culture and many other cultures water represent life, plentifulness, divine gift.

We want to break out of the caul. It seems almost impossible. We are surrounded by rules, restrictions, visible and invisible obstacles. We're looking around. Our fellow human beings have built into the machinery and even become so, now they are the machinery. We prayed to a good God. The answer is try the official church channels. Net is censored and the real sages are dead. You can still find two traces here and there that time has not yet won to erase, but nothing can be proven anymore. The invisible execution squad is doing a really good and thorough job.

In addition to our Sephardic roots, the album also includes pieces from the Carpathian Basin. We play, among others, a Sephardic lament, a Schoenberg quotation and a Mahala (Romanian, Hungarian and Gypsy dance). The themes try to draw out - despite their diversity - a structural building system in which the individual parts show a very different face at the micro and macro level."

"We were classmates with Kálmán more than 30 years ago at the jazz department. Since then our musical and pedagogical paths have met many times, but we haven't got a chance to make serious co-operation."

The Kreisler Trio Wien has again invited renowned guest musicians for it's latest album, including the principal hornist of the Vienna Philharmonic, Wolfgang Vladar. The main work of this recording is Beethoven's Septet, Op. 20, combined with the charming Serenade for String Trio by Ernst von Dohnanyi as the door-opener.

Willie Dixon sings his originals on this album, even though many were written for other artists to perform previously. The album offers a unique perspective in comparing how Dixon interprets his music to how other performers (Muddy Waters and Howlin' Wolf for example) have interpreted it.

Soul Asylum was formed in Minneapolis in 1983 mixing tuneful but unrestrained punk, hardcore, 1970s rock, country and self-effacing kitsch. One early review described their sound as follows: some unholy mix of Kiss and Hank Williams thrown under the wheels of a runaway train. All elements contributed to the band being credited with a grunge precursor title, a claim often recited in comparisons between pre-Nirvana Minneapolis and Seattle bands. "Change of Fortune" is Soul Asylum's 11th full length studio album.

Iva Bittova is the acclaimed Czech singer/performer/composer’s beautifully self-titled solo debut for ECM. This unique work expresses the essence of Bittova’s craft and explores the deep relationship between the violin and her voice. The pieces here, modestly-titled “Fragments I-XII” resist definition. An idiosyncratic ‘folk’ music, contemporary composition, improvisation, any and all of these may apply from moment to moment. Her music is lively and revolutionary.
