Hot Fun is the third album from Dayton with the ever-popular rendition of Sly and the Family Stone's 1969 classic song Hot Fun in the Summertime. The album was moderate yet well received by Billboard critics for its cool skating and stepper’s groove and set amidst some jazzy riffing and ensemble vocals that are totally great as well as the rest of the album with its excellent bouncy and joyous mode, with mixed male and female vocals .The group moved from their previous label, Liberty to Capitol Records. The album also features "Krackity Krack" with another Dayton native, Bootsy Collins and the funk and jazzy "Movin' Up". Other major hits include the bouncy and funky “We Can’t Miss”, the danceable single “Meet The Man”, funky tune of "Gunch" and the slow jam "Patiently".

Kalthoum is a celebration of women who changed the course of history and whose artistic influence still has an impact on our daily lives. I therefore chose Oum Kalthoum, an iconic figure, a true monument in the history of the Arab people, and furthermore the voice I have been listening to the most since my early childhood.

Cub Sport's forthcoming debut album This is Our Vice, (out June 17th) an album filled with mercurial topics such as self-doubt and self-immolation that are crafted into an expanse of shimmering harmonies.There are a handful of seminal bands from Brisbane, Australia; cult favourites The Saints, and The Go-Betweens amongst them. Few of these bands, despite their status now, can claim to have achieved the level of breakout success that the Cub Sport - Tim Nelson (lead vocals), Zoe Davis (guitar), Dan Puusaari (drums), Sam Netterfield (keyboard) has in merely three years. Cub Sport first caught attention with their Told You So EP (2012) and Paradise EP (2013). The blissed-out, anthemic track Paradise landed them an evening playlist, and a coveted John Kennedy Session at XFM, and a session with Dan Roberts at BBC London; not bad for the band's first venture to the UK! The band then spent the following year impressing at various seminal festivals around the world, including Brighton's The Great Escape, Liverpool Sound City, Music Matters Singapore, London's Calling in Amsterdam and multiple packed rooms during NYC's CMJ Music Marathon.

Dayton was a post-disco funk band, formed in Dayton, Ohio, United States by Chris Jones (trumpet, keyboards, vocals) from the band Sun and Shawn Sandridge (guitar, vocals) from Over Night Low. Derrick Armstrong (vocals), Kevin Hurt (drums, percussion), Jennifer Matthews (vocals) and Rachel Beavers (vocals) completed the line up. Former Sun member Dean Hummons played the keyboards on the first two Dayton albums.

Following the two volumes of the Guide des Instruments, RICERCAR goes further into the knowledge of several instruments and their specific repertoire. It was in 1817 that the instrument maker Halary invented this instrument whose low register prefigures the tuba. Integrated into the orchestra by Berlioz, the ophicleide was also used in church to accompany the plainchant and quite present in military bands. But it also benefitted from a solo repertoire in the concerto genre as well as in chamber music. Patrick Wibart impresses with his total mastery of the instrument and the flexibility of his playing. To be discovered imperatively.
