Johann Joseph Fux wrote the chamber opera Dafne in Lauro in 1714 to celebrate the birthday of Emperor Charles VI. The work belongs to the so-called Festa teatrale, i.e. works that were written exclusively for the Habsburgs` festive occasions and, as such, only accessible to a select circle. The work was written in Italian; Vienna was one of Italian opera`s main centres. Fux is considered to have paved the way for Viennese Classicism.

Don't pay attention to the title, which is absolutely nonsensical and bewildering – it suggests that This Is Me…Then is a compilation, which it isn't, and it also suggests that this has some sort of theme, which it doesn't – and concentrate on the music, which is the strongest, sultriest, best music Jennifer Lopez (who has abandoned the moniker J-Lo) has recorded for any of her three albums. This, of course, doesn't mean that it's a radical musical departure, though there are differences here – the glitzy dance-pop has been phased out, there's a stronger urban soul vibe, particularly on the lush surfaces and sexy grooves.

X-Static is the eighth studio album by Daryl Hall & John Oates, released in 1979 by RCA Records. Buddah Records re-released the album with two bonus tracks in 2000. "Wait for Me" reached #18 on the Billboard charts and won a BMI airplay award.

"The Other Side of the Rainbow" is the twelfth album by singer Melba Moore, released in 1982. This was released on Capitol Records proper. It also featured her hit "Love's Comin' At Ya".

Though Alice Cooper's 1989 comeback gave him his first hit album in over a decade, the Trash record left some diehard fans disappointed, as did 1991's Hey Stoopid. Many listeners felt that Cooper had sold himself short, now completely focusing on sleazy sexual anthems, making him just another face in the heavy metal crowd. By the time The Last Temptation was released in 1994, the hair band fad that had fueled Cooper's return was dead, and Cooper was obviously aware of its downfall – the album sounds almost nothing like its two predecessors. Instead of relating to such albums as Motley Crue's Dr. Feelgood, Last Temptation seems more similar to Ozzy Osbourne's No More Tears.
