Time was, Beginnings represented a holy grail of sorts for Slade fans (and original Fontana pressings still do). Thankfully, a rash of reissues have taken much of the edge of the market, and the band's debut album, cut while they still traded as Ambrose Slade, is readily available for all to hear, and what a joy it is. Of course, little of what you'd expect from Slade is actually in place, although Noddy Holder's vocals, naturally, are unmistakable…

This album has an extremly lively blend of streight ahead jazz and tropical island sounds. The playing is top notch and tight. While the rhythm section keeps the grooves mellow and movin' the rest of the band can get your head spinnin' with blazin' runs and wicked sincopation.

The Ride is the upcoming sixth studio album by Canadian singer Nelly Furtado. The album is scheduled to be released on 31 March 2017 by Furtado's own record label, Nelstar Music. Furtado has described The Ride as being her "hangover album".

The Caribbean Jazz Project has built its reputation by forging a colorful blend of Latin and Caribbean styles. Although the band's lineup has continued to evolve on Birds of a Feather, vibraphonist Dave Samuels, trumpeter Ray Vega, percussionist Robert Quintero, drummer Dafnis Prieto, and bassist Ruben Rodriguez remain from the original incarnation. A number of guests, including trumpeter Randy Brecker, guitarist Romero Lubambo, and drummer Mark Walker help fill out the arrangements. With all of the high profile talent here, it's important to remember that Birds of a Feather worries less over standout solos than the overall tapestry.

With the help of Robert Papst of Dominoe Fame, Dan Lucas has delivered a collection of songs that even the most hardened aor freak couldnt resist. It's just one great track after another without giving you enough time to breathe and that to me is a good sign of a great record... If you havent heard of Dan Lucas before go grab this if you can (its a bit hard to find these days) its worth the money you'll have to pay for believe me!
