The virtuosic Sonata No. 49, with its pedal effects and extended compass, shows techniques derived from the English Piano School and in the final sonata he encapsulates to perfection the sound world of early nineteenth-century Vienna.

The band was formed in Bayreuth, Germany by classically trained keyboard player and multi-instrumentalist Andreas Hack, releasing their debut Personal Effects, Part 1 in 2008 followed by a list of other acclaimed albums. The current musical vision is given direction by both Hack and Nerissa Schwarz, along with long time band member Wolfgang Ostermann.
