Assembling an intimate set of collaborators from the rock community, Muggs breaks from his usual hip-hop projects and takes a second stab at electronica on Dust. His first attempt was with 1999's Juxtapose, an uneven pairing with Tricky that was dominated by the British rapper's paranoid, druggy sound. Dust is more focused, with Muggs delivering a frequently brilliant collection of dense yet lovely soundscapes. The producer crafts each track with meticulous detail, mixing electronic beats, live instruments, and bizarre samples into epic down-tempo pop. Most impressive is "Rain," a majestic ballad that blends a shuffling beat, orchestral strings, acoustic guitars, and the fragile voice of Buckcherry's Josh Todd into a melancholy gem. "Tears" is a far more menacing highlight, boasting a tense mixture of ghostly female vocals and pounding dance beats. A collaboration with Greg Dulli results in "Cloudy Days," a gritty drug ballad that recalls the menacing soul of the Afghan Whigs' 1965; while the throbbing "Morta" is a seductive, slow burning vamp revolving around moody orchestral flourishes and a lazy tribal drumbeat. "Far Away" finishes the record with a sweeping dream pop coda, slowly devolving from a haze of chiming guitars and buried vocals into a blend of lush synths and chanting.

Timeless is NBC's time travel, action-adventure series. When an experimental time machine is stolen, a history professor, a soldier and an engineer are tasked with capturing the culprit only to learn that he plans to rewrite American history and that each of them has a connection to his plan as well as the mysterious organization that funded the machine's development. The show's thrilling score is composed by Emmy nominated composer Robert Duncan (Castle, Buffy The Vampire Slayer, The Unit).

Tom Holkenborg, aka Junkie XL, is a Grammy nominated and multi-platinum producer, musician, and composer whose versatility puts him on the cutting edge of contemporary music, as well as at the vanguard of exciting new film composers. His film scoring credits include Mad Max Fury Road, Deadpool, Black Mass, Divergent, Brimstone and the forthcoming Dark Tower and now Tomb Raider.

The U.K. label Stateside should be commended for putting Minnie Riperton's second through fifth solo albums back into circulation. Despite a number of representative compilations, Riperton's full-length studio recordings should not be forgotten. This 2004 release pairs 1974's Perfect Angel with the following year's Adventures in Paradise two albums that brought the singer her most popular success. Perfect Angel, featuring assistance from Stevie Wonder, stands with Come to My Garden as one of the best moments of her career, though it wasn't without a price; "Lovin' You" became so popular that it overshadowed her accomplishments leading up to and after its release.
