    MIKE HALL was appointed professor of trombone/euphonium and brass choir director at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, VA in 2006. He served as professor of trombone and member of the Kansas Brass Quintet at the University of Kansas 2000-2006, and at Eastern Michigan University 1995-2000 where he was lecturer of low brass and director of the EMU Jazz Ensemble. Since 1998 he has served as Literature Reviews Editor for the International Trombone Association Journal. He has received the Doctor of Musical Arts degree in trombone performance from the University of Minnesota, the Master of Music degree also in trombone performance from the University of Arizona, and the Bachelor of Music Education degree from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. His principal teachers include Thomas Ashworth, Tom Ervin, Vern Kagarice, and Brian Martz.

    Tami Show was a band from Chicago, Illinois. The group took its name from a 1964 concert film. The six-member ensemble (including sisters Cathy and Claire Massey on vocals) released an album on Chrysalis Records in 1988 and a second on RCA Records in 1991; they are best remembered for their US top 40 hit, "The Truth". Claire Massey continues to record solo material and maintains a website under the name "Planet Claire".

    The band was formed in 1989 when the band took their new name Wistaria. With the new name change from Tucana, there was also a line up change where Jonas Nitz left the band, leaving Niclas Birgersson (vocals and writer) and Magnus Carlberger (keyboards, guitar and writer) searching for new members. Shortly after the reformation, Mikael Larsson joined in on Guitars, followed by Magnus Andersson on drums. In March 1989 Johnny Rosengren joined as the new bass player and the band was almost complete. Because of the complexity of the music, a second keyboardist was needed. After Wistarias first 5 song Demo, Mikael Gullmes joined the band late 1989 by showing of his talents in a very extreme way.
