The name Nice Beaver refers to a joke from the movie Naked Gun, where a game is played with perceptions and expectations. Sometimes things are not what you perceive them to be, and sometimes what you see is what you get. A similar game with reality and our expectations can be heard in the music of Nice Beaver. Deceptively simple rhythms turn out to contradict the melody, while the most complex patterns produce groovy tunes.

A live Cinderella album entitled 'Stripped', a solid collection of live tracks from Philadelphia based group, was released on May 16th through Collectors Dream Records. Originally released in 2001 as 'Live At The Key Club', the songs contained on 'Stripped' were recorded over the course of two nights at the Key Club, in Hollywood, during Cinderella's 'Unfished Business' tour. The shows were staged on October 2nd and 3rd of 1998 and featured the original Cinderella line-up, with main man Tom Keifer out front, commanding with his tortured vocals, along with Jeff LaBar, Fred Coury and Eric Brittingham. 'Stripped' includes fourteen hard rockin' and blues-based tracks from the group's recording career and two bonus tracks recorded live in 1991.

UZEB is a jazz fusion band from Montreal, Quebec, Canada, who were active from 1976 to 1992, and reunited in November 2016. The members are Alain Caron (bass guitar), Michel Cusson (guitar), and Paul Brochu (drums). The band won a number of Canadian awards during the 1980s.By 1989, international sales of UZEB's first eight recordings had exceeded 200,000 units, which the Encyclopedia of Music in Canada calls "an unprecedented figure for a Canadian jazz group"
